Though I still suck, I’ve gotten a lot better since working with British Olympian and undefeated pro TonyJeffries! Boxing has done wonders for my movement, footwork, conditioning, and body comp.
Here’s the setup:
ROUND 1: BODY WORK- 3 minutes
Work the body, mixing between orthodox and southpaw stances every 30 or 90 seconds. Really focus on pivoting the feet and driving through your hips.
ROUND 2: HEAD WORK- 3 minutes
Work the head, mixing between orthodox and southpaw stances every 30 or 90 seconds. React to the bag and move around it to really dial in your footwork.
Rest a minute between rounds and do 6 total rounds (3 of each). My heart rate was 160-170 bpm’s throughout. Use this as a starter or finisher or for a fast, fun, and effective conditioning protocol.
